Tunggangi mobil patroli backbone, Camat Muara Pinang dan Lintang Kanan serta  Polsek dan Koramil melaksanakan sosialisasi secara keliling di dua kecamatan wilayah hukumnya, Minggu (22/03).

Sosialisasi sebagai pencegahan Corona itu menyusuri jalan utama di dua Kecamatan tersebut.

Kapolsek Lintang Kanan Iptu Indra Gunawan mengungkapkan, sosialisasi pencegahan Covid-19 atau Virus Corona yang saat ini tengah menjadi pademi.

“Sosialisasi pencegahan dan antisipasi Virus Corona yang  d laksanakan melibatkan unsur tripika di dua wilayah kecamatan itu,” ungkapnya.

Melalui sosialisasi tersebut, sambungnya, diharapkan masyarakat dapat memahami upaya mendukung pemerintah, terlebih Kapolri juga telah mengeluarkan maklumat Nomor : Mak/ 2 /III/2020 tentang Kepatuhan terhadap kebijakan pemerintah dalam penanganan penyebaran virus corona (Covid-19).

Sebab menurut beberapa point maklumat dengan mempertimbangkan situasi nasional terkait dengan cepatnya penyebaran Covid-19, maka pemerintah telah mengeluarkan kebijakan dalam rangka penanganan secara baik, cepat, dan tepat agar penyebarannya tidak meluas dan berkembang menjadi gangguan terhadap keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat.

“Intinya sosialisasi dan pencegahan tersebut agar dapat dipahami seluruh masyarakat. Lebih baik mencegah daripada mengobat,” pungkasnya.(afz)
