Puluhan kendaraan roda dua diamankan Jajaran Polrestabes Palembang, dalam Razia knalpot Racing , yang dilaksanakan dijalan Jendral Sudirman, sabtu (22/10/202.).
Kabag Ops Polrestabes Palembang Eddy mengatakan, kegiatan tersebut.dilaksanakan terkait banyaknya laporan dari masyarakat melalui sms ke Polrestabes Palembang terkait maraknya kendaraan roda dua yang mengganggu ketenangan masyarakat umum.
“ya ,benar malam ini kita melaksanakan razia kendaraan roda dua yang menggunakan knalpot racing, hal ini berdasarkan laporan masyarakat, “katanya.
Menurutnya sebanyak 30 kendaraan roda dua yang terjaring akan di amankan di Polrestabes Palembang, dan pihaknya akan memanggil orang tua untuk membuat pernyataan dan mengganti dengan knalpot standart.
Sementara itu di tempat yang sama Kasat Lantas Kompol M Yakin Rusdi Sik, menambahkan bahwa kegiatan ini akan rutin dilaksanakan pada malam minggu, selain banyaknya laporan masyarakat, pihaknya juga mengantisipasi maraknya balapan liar.

Ditegaskannya lagi, bahwa kendaraan roda dua yang terjaring karena knalpot racing tidak akan dikenakan tilang, tetapi pihaknya mengharuskan mengganti dengan knalpot standart.
“kita tidak mengenakan sanksi tilang,namun bagi anak yang di bawah umur akan kita panggil orang tuanya dengan membuat perjanjian dan harus mengganti dengan knalpot standart,”singkatnya.(ern)
