Polda Sumsel Ungkap 52 Kasus Narkotika dan Amankan 67 Tersangka

Palembang, The8news.com – 52 kasus narkotika dan 67 tersangka berhasil diungkap Polda Sumsel pada pekan pertama Desember 2020. Demikian disampaikan Kabid Humas Polda Sumsel, Kombes Pol Drs Supriadi MM, Senin (07/12).

“Dari 67 tersangka yang ditangkap, 54 tersangka diantaranya merupakan pengedar narkoba, sedangkan 13 tersangka lainnya merupakan pemakai barang haram tersebut. Untuk barang bukti yang disita yakni sabu sebanyak 2.593,6 gram, ganja 10.835,77 gram dan pil ekstasi sebanyak 5.039 butir,” ujar Supriadi.

Dijelaskannya, dari segi kuantitas banyaknya Laporan Polisi (LP) yang diungkap, Polrestabes Palembang menjadi yang terbanyak dengan 7 LP dan 8 tersangka, lalu dari Polres Musi Banyuasin dengan 5 LP dan 5 orang tersangka, serta dari Polres Pagarala dengan 5 LP dan 4 tersangka.

“Kemudian dari Polres Muara Enim dan Polres OKU masing-masing dengan 4 LP dan 5 tersangka, Polres Musi Rawas dengan 3 LP dan 8 tersangka, Polres Prabumulih 3 LP dan 4 tersangka, Polres OKU dan Polres Lubuk Linggau masing-masing dengan 3 LP dan 3 tersangka. Lalu dari Ditresnarkoba Polda Sumsel dengan 2 LP dan 5 tersangka, Polres Muratara 2 LP dan 4 tersangka, Polres Banyuasin dan Polres Empat Lawang masing-masing 2 LP dan 2 tersangka, Polres Lahat 1 LP dan 2 tersangka, Polres OKU Selatan 1 LP dan 1 tersangka, serta Polres PALI dengan 1 LP dan 3 tersangka,” jelasnya.

Sementara itu ada satu Polres yang tidak melakukan pengungkapan kasus narkotika di Minggu I Desember 2020 ini yakni dari Polres Ogan Ilir. Menurutnya, dari barang bukti narkoba yang disita seperti narkotika jenis sabu, ganja dan ekstasi setidaknya aparat kepolisian telah menyelamatkan 79.817 anak bangsa dari penyalahgunaan narkoba.

“Dengan terungkapnya peredaran sejumlah kasus tersebut, Polda Sumsel tidak henti-hentinya menghimbau kepada masyarakat untuk selalu melakukan pengawasan terhadap anak dan keluarga masing-masing dari pengaruh buruk narkoba yang dapat merusak generasi penerus bangsa,” ujarnya. (jfa)
