Palembang, The8News.com – Tahapan Pemilihan Ketua umum KONI Kota Palembang periode (2020-2024) akan dilaksanakan. Panitia mulai bekerja melakukan penjaringan dan penyaringan calon Ketua Umum KONI Kota Palembang. Salah satu kandidat yang akan mendaftarkan diri sebagai calon Ketua Umum KONI Kota Palembang adalah Sekretaris KONI Kota Palembang, Arbain Semendawai BSc SH.
Melalui keterangan pers Rabu (16/12) Arbain mengatakan, bahwa ia akan maju mencalonkan diri dalam pemilihan ketua umum KONI kota Palembang desember ini dan mengklaim sudah mendapatkan dukungan dari 28 cabang olahraga (Cabor) Koni Kota Palembang.
“Dengan mengucapkan bismillahirrahman nirrahim, dengan dukungan yang valid dari 28 cabang olahraga saya akan mencalonkan diri sebagai Ketum Koni Kota Palembang periode 2020-2024,” tegas Arbain.
“Dukungan (cabor) untuk maju sebagai calon Ketum KONI Kota Palembang ada 28 cabor, kemungkinan akan bertambah. Melalui jumpa pers hari ini akan kita publikasi. Ini bentuk keseriusan kita mencalonkan diri,” ujar Arbain didampingi perwakilan dari beberapa Ketum dan Sekum cabor kepada wartawan di Posko Pemenangan, Jalan Enim II, Kecamatan IB I, Rabu (16/12).
Ke 28 cabor tersebut yang siap mendukung Arbain untuk menjadi Ketum Koni Kota Palembang periode 2020-2024 diantaranya, PERWOSI, IWBA, POBSI, PESTI, PTMSI, PBSI, PERSEROSI, PASI, FOSI, PELTI, PSSI, FORKI, PRSI, INDONESIA RUGBY, PSTI, PBVSI, ABTI, IBSI, GABSI, PERTINA, ISSI, MUAYTHAI INDONESIA, PERKEMI, PERBAKIN, PERCASI, IKASI, TAEKWONDO, dan BAPOPSI.
Arbain menjelaskan, Musyawarah Olahraga Kota Luar Biasa (Musorkotlub) itu sendiri direncanakan dilaksanakan pada 21-22 Desember mendatang di Gedung Parameswara Pemkot Palembang.
“Bertekad, jika terpilih pada 21 Desember nanti akan merebut kembali gelar juara umum Koni yang lepas pada 2019 lalu dan akan menjadikan Koni Kota Palembang JuaraUmum pada Porprov 2021 di OKU Raya, “ Tegas Arbain.
Dijelaskanya, jika terpilih nanti, setiap 1 orang dari cabor akan saya jadikan pengurus di Koni Palembang. Mengenai dana bantuan rutin yangg selama ini Rp 200 ribu per bulan, inshaallah akan dinaikan menjadi Rp500 ribu per bulan.
Dana yang ada di KONI, pada periode kepemimpinan saya nanti akan saya berikan 75 % ke cabor 25 % ke Koni serta memberikan kesempatan kepada cabor untuk membina atlit yang akan diberikan bantuan dana Rp5-Rp10 juta per tahun,“ tambah Arbain dengan penuh semangat.
Mengenai adanya isu penundaan pelaksanaan Musorkotlub, Arbain menanggapi serius.
“Adanya isu penundaan pelaksanaan Musorkotlub, sebagai kandidat calon ketum, terus terang kami sebagai calon tidak menghendaki, malah meminta untuk tetap sesuai mekanisme yang berjalan dan tetap dilaksanakan tanggal 21 Desember nanti. Karena tidak ada lagi halangan dan hambatan serta kekurangan dari panitia untuk melaksanakan Musorkotlub ini. Kalaupun alasan Covid-19, tentunya tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan, peserta saja yang tadinya dua orang sudah dikurangi menjadi satu orang. Artinya semua perencanaan sudah lancar, cuma dalam waktu lima hari ini agak kaget ada wacana Musorkotlub akan ditunda, Jadi saya tegaskan sebagai calon saya menolak untuk ditunda,“ tegas Arbain.
Menanggapi adanya klaim calon lain yang sudah mendapatkan dukungan dari 30 cabor dan 20 cabor, Arbain hanya menjelaskan bahwa cabor yang tercatat di Koni Kota Palembang ada 47 dengan rincian 45 cabor dan 2 organisasi fungsional. Jika calon lain mengklaim silahkan, pada akhirnya saat pendaftaran nanti akan terbukti dukungan dari cabor-cabor, “ jelasnya.
“Musorkotlub ini haknya peserta, artinya peserta dalam hal ini cabor-cabor, yang mempunai hak penuh untuk memilih ketua. Jadi 47 cabor inilah yang akan mentukan langkah Musorkotlub ini terus apa tidak karena hak suaranya ada pada mereka, “ tambahnya.
Ditempat yang sama, mewakili cabor PSTI Kota Palembang, Safrul Caniago dengan tegas mengatakan PSTI memberikan mandat kepada Arbain Semendawai untuk maju sebagai calon Ketum Koni Kota Palembang. “ Kami yakin ditangan dingin Pak Arbain olahraga Kota Palembang jauh lebih baik kedepannya, “ Ujar Safrul.
Tak ketinggalan, Sekum PRSI Yunardi jamal mewakili Ketum dan cabor, Ediyono Sekum Taekwondo mewakili Ketum dan cabor, Sekum Percasi Suganda Abdullah mewakili ketum dan cabor,serta Ibnu Aqil Ketum ABTI memberikan dukungan penuh kepada arbain Semendawai untuk menjadi Ketum Koni Kota Palembang 2020-2024.
