Bertepatan HUT OKU Timur ke-17, HD Resmikan 70 Bangunan Infrastruktur
OKU Timur, The8News.com – Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru meresmikan 70 infrastruktur, Senin (18/1) -bertepatan dengan peringatan HUT OKU Timur ke-17.
Ke 70 bangunan fisik tersebut mulai jalan, jembatan, normalisasi sungai, pengembangan sistem air minum, internet desa hingga bangunan gedung pendidikan yang kesemuanya telah rampung dikerjakan ditandai penandatanganan prasasti peresmian yang dipusatkan di atas jembatan Desa Pandan Agung Kecamatan Madang Suku II Kab. OKU Timur, Senin (18/1/2021) siang.
Diketahui, jembatan yang menghubungkan kampung Ulu dan Kampung Ilir Desa Pandan Agung tersebut dibangun dengan menggunakan Anggaran Pendapatan Belanja Daerah (APBD) Provinsi Sumsel tahun 2019-2020.
“Secara kebetulan peresmian ini bertepatan dengan HUT Kabupaten OKU Timur. Namun ini juga merupakan starting point peresmian di daerah lainnya,” kata Herman Deru usai peresmian.
Menurutnya, pembangunan sejumlah infrastruktur di Kabupaten didanai oleh Pemprov Sumsel yang bersumber dari APBD Sumsel, dana penanganan dan dan Bantuan Gubernur (Bangub).
“Kurang lebih satu tahun ini kabupaten dan kota merecoufusing anggaran untuk penanganan covid-19 sehingga pembangunan sedikit terhambat. Namun dengan pendanaan dari APBD Provinsi ini pembangunan dapat terlihat nyata seperti sekarang ini,” tuturnya.
Diketahui, 70 kegiatan pembangunan infrastruktur di Kabupaten OKU Timur dilakukan Pemprov Sumsel dengan total nilai pembiayaan APBD tahun 2019 sebesar Rp345.848.844.529 dan APBD tahun 2020 sebesar 424.562.816.953,91.
Disampaikannya, di tengah keterbatasan dana akibat pandemi covid-19 saat ini, semua pihak harus bergotong royong dalam membangun Sumsel.
“Hampir sebagian APBD Provinsi kita bagikan untuk kue pembangunan di kabupaten dan kota di Sumsel. Hal itu semata-mata bukan untuk pemulihan ekonomi namun lebih dari itu percepatan pembangunan disegala bidang,” terangnya.
Untuk itu, dia berpesan pada masyarakat OKU Timilur agar infrastruktur yang telah dibangun tersebut dipelihara dengan baik sehingga bisa semakin mendongkrak perekonomian masyarakat.
“Jika rasa sayang dipupuk, maka kita akan ikhlas memelihara apa yang telah kita dapatkan,” imbuhnya.
Dia juga mengharapkan, semua pihak menuangkan ide-ide pokok dalam memajukan Sumsel sehingga dapat pembangunan di Sumsel dapat terus berlanjut.
“Alokasi dana tidak bisa serta merta dilakukan tanpa ada yang meminta dan mengusulkan ke lembaga formal. Pembangunan yang sebelumnya mangkrak bertahun-tahun juga harus kita prioritaskan,” tegasnya.
Dibagian akhir sambutannya Herman Deru menyebut, dirinya dari awal berkomitmen untuk memeratakan pembangunan infrastruktur di 17 Kabupaten/kota di Sumsel. Bahkan dia menegaskan dirinya secara bertahap segera meresmikan infrastruktur yang ada di Kabupaten/kota.
“Mulai hari ini, saya akan road show ke Kabupaten/kota untuk meresmikannya. Meski dilakukan disatu titik secara simbolis. Karena tidak mungkin kita datangi satu persatu lokasinya,” tandasnya.
Sementara itu, Bupati OKU Timur HM Kholid Mawardi mengatakan, sedikitnya hampir Rp1 triliun dana dikucurkan Pemprov Sumsel untuk pembangunan di OKU Timur sehingga saat ini OKU Timur menjelma menjadi Kabupaten berbasis pertanian yang cukup diperhitungkan.
“Saat ini akses jalan dan jembatan di OKU Timur sudah sangat baik. Mudah-mudahan ini dapat menggerakkan ekonomi masyarakat khususnya bidang pertanian. Imbasnya, masyarakat OKU Timur kerap melakukan terobosan di bidang pertanian,” pungkasnya. (*)
