Kemenag OKU Beri Santunan Kepada Siswa Madrasyah Tak Mampu
BATURAJA,OKU – Kantor Wilayah Kementrian Agama (Kemenag) Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), Rabu (3/1), memberikan santunan kepada 50 siswa madrasyah tak mampu di wilayah tersebut.
Bantuan itu diserahkan langsung oleh Kepala Kemenag OKU, H Ishak Putih saat peringatan Hari Amal Bhakti Kementrian Agama Ke-72 yang diselenggarakan di halaman DPRD setempat.
Dengan adanya bantuan itu Ishak berharap, bisa meringankan dan memberikan semangat kepada siswa madrasyah tak mampu di Kabupaten OKU agar terus menimba ilmu tanpa harus khawatir dengan masalah biaya pendidikan.
Selain itu lanjut Ishak, pihaknya juga memberikan santuan kepada 50 orang purnawirawan Kantor Wilayah Kemenag OKU yang sudah memasuki masa pensiun. “Santunan ini sebagai bentuk kepedulian kita terhadap seluruh purnawirawan yang sudah mengabdikan hidupnya untuk kemajuan Kantor Wilayah Kemenag OKU,” tegasnya.
Tak lupa pada moment bahagia itu seluruh jajaran Kantor Wilayah Kemenag OKU juga menyempatkan diri melakukan anjang sana ke Panti Asuhan Asifah yang terletak di Jalan Lintas Sumatera Baturaja.
Kemudian acara dilanjutkan dengan pemberian penghargaan dari managemen koran lokal yang tergabung dalam Jawa Post Grup, yakni OKU Ekspres kepada Kepala Kemenag OKU, H Ishak Putih yang dinilai sangat bersahabat dan selalu siap memberikan data guna membantu tugas-tugas para jurnalistik mempublikasikan berbagai kegiatan di Kemenag setempat, khususnya soal jemaah haji.
