Baturaja – Masih dalam suasana Natal dan Tahun baru, Badan Kerjasama Antar Gereja (BKSAG), se- Ogan Komering Ulu mengelar kegiatan Perayaan Natal Oikoumene di Gedung Kesenian Baturaja, pada Jumat (5/1).
Ketua Panitia Anwar Mangunsong mengatakan bahwa, kegiatan ini merupakan gelaran rutin setiap tahun. Adapun tema Perayanan Natal saat ini yaitu “Hendaklah Damai Sejahtera Kristus Memerintah Dalam Hatimu“. Lebih lanjut Anwar menyampaikan, Melalui tema ini, hendaknya bersama-sama bergotong royong dalam melakukan pembangunan Di OKU khususnya.
“Walau kita berbeda-beda suku, namun kita tetap satu,” katanya. Perayaan Natal bersama ini diharapkan bisa menyatukan antar suku, walau sebagain suku yang hadir bukan asli OKU, namun pihaknya berharap hal ini bisa memperkuat persatuan dan kesatuan untuk membangun OKU secara bersama-sama. Kami siap membantu pemkab OKU untuk maju bersama, “terang Anwar.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, ketua Badan Kerjasama Antar Gereja (BKSAG) OKU Pdt Andreas K Thama, menyampaikan jika pihaknya bersepakatan untuk merayakan natal bersama, maka dibentuklah panitia. Temanya sendiri sesuai tema Natal Nasional pada tahun 2017 yakni hendaklah damai sejahtera kristus memerintah dalam hatimu. “Artinya menyaratkan kita saling bahu membahu gotong royong untuk OKU khususnya, sebagai masyarakat nasrani saling mendukung walupun berbeda tetap satu Indonesia”tegasnya. Perbedaan bukanlah penghalang apalagi penyebab perpecahan melainkan murni agar kita saling melengkapi keharmonisan keamanan kerukunan dan kedamian diantara kita.
Bupati OKU Drs. Kuryana Azis, yang hadir pada acara tersebut mengatakan , bila Negara Indonesia ini terdiri berbagai suku dan agama. Tapi terbukti bisa hidup berdampingan dan saling toleransi serta mengajak semua lapisan masyarakat kab OKU, untuk menjaga keamanan dan perdamaian,” kata Bupati.
Kuryana juga mengajak masyarakat untuk membina hubungan baik dalam bermasyarakat untuk hidup berdampingan. Walaupun berbeda-beda suku dan agama kita tepat satu yakni Indonesia. Tandasnya (*Jum)
