Palembang,the8news.com — Timnas volly pantai putra Indonesia Adik Chandra dan Muhammad Asyifa berhasil mengalahkan tim pasangan Afganistan Muhammad Asifi dan Mohib Ahmadi, pada pertandingan di Venue Volly Pantai, Minggu (19/08/2018).
Di set pertama, tim pasuhan Koko Prasetyo ini unggul dengan skor 21-8,di set kedua cabor volly Asian Games 2018 berhasil meraih skor 21-7.
“Kita tetap bermain maksimal,kita sudah menyesuaikan kondisi lapangan selama sebulan,saat ini si kita telah menguasai situasi di lapangan itu juga yang menentukan kemenangan saat ini, kita lebih pede, ” ujar Adik Chandra.
Chandra menuturkan, dirinya sudah tiga kali bermain di venue Palembang, namun untuk tim dari Oman yang bertanding kali ini dirinya belum pernah bertemu dalam pertandingan.
“Kita fokus untuk kemenangan pada pertandingan babak penyisihan. Saat bertemu tim yang berat, kita buat strategi baru, kita sudah tiga kali ketemu dengan tim dari Oman, tapi untuk pertandingan di Asian Games baru kali ini bertemu pemainnya,” katanya.
Chandra bersyukur, dalam pertandingan pertama ini mendapat lawan yang mudah. “Pada pertandingan kali ini untuk mengasah kemampuan, untuk melawan tim Oman pada pertandingan berikutnya ,kita fokus latihan lagi dan menstabilkan kondisi karena Oman juga merupakan lawan yang tangguh , pungkasnya.(ern).
